Backward Flag Brewing Company is a no-frills brewery. Our floor is a little worn, our walls are scattered with military and first responder paraphernalia, it smells of freshly mashed grains and there are even a few cobwebs thrown in for flare. What we lack in aesthetics we make up for in our brewing process. The attention to detail that our brewers take in brewing the beer you love is shown in the quality of our beer. We would say that we follow Mil-Spec standards, but we strive to far exceed the standards of the lowest bidder.
